JUNIOR GOLF
In a beautiful setting, we encourage juniors to make friends, develop their golfing skills, and get involved with friendly and competitive play. Our Junior section continues to grow year on year, and remains a core part of the friendly community at Tenterden Golf.
We run many match fixtures against local clubs, and weekly group sessions for those looking for a more social experience.
JUNIOR CAPTAIN
Oliver Wilson
I was very happy to be offered the role of Junior Captain for 2026. I had very few lessons when I was 7 years old and stopped playing until 10 months ago where I found the love for the beautiful game. My goal for this year is to be a single figure handicap player. Having no experience in competitions, I was also pleased to win the Best Junior award for the Captain’s Drive-In, marking what I will continue to do this year but instead for the best overall score. I love the sense of community in the club which makes me want to explore the opportunity of having more juniors and adults join this community instead of just “playing”. If any new or experienced players, or anyone wishing to start golf have any questions or suggestions for the Club, feel free to contact me and I will advise and promote to the best of my ability. I’d like to say a thanks to everyone at the Club and everyone who has helped with my golf game. Let’s have a great year together at Tenterden Golf Club.
